Cenote dives are conducted only in the cavern zone. This zone is the part of the cenote where daylight is still visible, and we never exceed 60 meters from the entrance.

01 — HOW WE DIVE
WhAt IS Cenote diving in tulum.
The cenotes of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula are iconic - crystal clear water, light beams shooting down, forests of stalactites and stalagmites.
The cavern zone is the part of the cenote where daylight is still visible. For divers without overhead training, there are strict rules that we follow to allow more divers to see these incredible sites.
All dives follow passageways wide enough for two divers to swim side-by-side.
Guides must be at least Divemaster and FullDiver Certified.
Guides are allowed to take up to 4 divers, I limit my groups to 3 divers for greater safety and enjoyment.
We always maintain a continuous guideline leading directly back to open water.
As a Full Cave Instructor, I am highly qualified to guide cenote dives.
Certification required is Open Water Diver.
02 — HOW A DAY LOOKS
TWO DIVES. ONE DAY UNDERGROUND
A cenote dive day includes two dives.
Depending on your preferences, these can be done in one cenote (with two different cavern lines) or two separate cenotes.
Each day begins with a safety briefing covering cenote details, rules, and dive procedures.
Between dives, we enjoy lunch with local food. Often tacos or another delicious regional option.
After lunch, we proceed with the second dive.
